Rodgers named NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers told fans of the team to “relax” last week after the team had a subpar game in Detroit and fell to 1-2.
But on Sunday in Chicago the Pack was back as they went into Soldier Field and dominated the Chicago Bears 38-17.
Rodgers went 22-of-28 for 302 yards and four touchdowns with a passer rating of 151.2. Those numbers were good enough to earn him NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
That’s the fourth-highest single-game passer rating in team history by a QB with a minimum of 20 pass attempts, and the second-highest of Rodgers’ career, behind only the franchise-record 155.4 he posted at Cleveland in 2009.
